The Delamar
The Delamar in Greenwich was the venue for our most recent event this past weekend. The tables were awe..bergine! Well the clothes, napkins and even menu cards were shades of aubergine. Some tables had tall columns filled with colored water and some tables were adorned with low arrangements. We use this effect often to visually fill the room and not sufficate the guests with flowers. White hydrangeas, roses, stock and fabulous phalanopsis orchids were used to create a dramatic feel. The head table was filled with tall vases and floating candles...Yes, the water was even aubergine!

The Round Hill Club in Autumn!
It's official...autumn was blooming at The Round Hill Club in Greenwich. From the moment you entered the club and strolled into the reception your eyes never had a chance to rest.
The entrance was a splendor of pumpkins, grapevine, bittersweet and lanterns leading guests into the colorful array of autumn! Guests tables were harvest style featuring colors of orange, coppers and golds. Callas, antique hydrangea, "Voodoo" roses and other fall textures adorned the tables with small clusters of hypericum, dahlias and yarrow adding beautiful accents to the table arrangements. The placecards were hung as chairbacks at each guest setting while a sprig of rosemary was placed in each napkin. Every detail was perfect!
The social hour had large sit-a-pons with pillows and shall we say candles were plentiful! As the room "shimmered" with autumn elegance, I left with a huge glow on my face!

Rain, rain go away come back another day!
The weather may have disappointed my brides today but that didn't stop my crew and I from creating memories for them. From simply clustered vases filled with stock, dahlias, hygrangeas and "Vanilla Ice" hypericum, the tables were simply elegant at the Wainwright House in Rye, NY. From there we headed north to the Belle Haven Club in Greenwich, CT where white mums lined the aisle leading your eyes up to the chuppah were the ceremony took place. Just a short stroll into the reception guests were welcomed by majestic colors of antique green
hydrangea, burgundy dahlias, "Hocus Pocus" roses and "Red Sox" callas. Yes, I did say Red Sox and not the Yankees! Their tables came alive with rich colors.
May the riches in life be with all my brides today and always!
